Whats with this fake traffic?

Hey it has been a while, i decided to write this because i am worried that my rankings are getting ruined and my stats. Ever since i joined ibosocial i have been getting a lot of fake traffic every night and it jumps up my bounce rate and lowers my duration. But i have cancelled my account on there and i keep getting the same amount of fake traffic and it goes to this weird link that is not even a link on my website.

I am hoping my site is not ruined because of this and im not sure what to do. I hate seeing traffic go to that random link thats full of letters and numbers. I am not sure what to do at this point, i wrote a new article like a week ago and i fetched it and everything like normal and it is still not indexed when my articles always get indexed by the next day. So i am really hoping this fake traffic is not hurting me and what i am trying to do.

Hi Justin,
I don't believe it is specific to ibosocial. I was getting this in GA.
I blocked the offending URL's and will continue to monitor and block them.

However, this shouldn't affect your posts from being indexed.

All the best.

I don't think I signed up with that site but I am getting a lot of junk referral traffic the last few weeks as well. It sucks.

Check this out Justin

I know it is possible to block traffic to your site from specific sources. Think it is in the robot.txt file. Not sure exactly how to do this, but just something you can then do some more research about.

Also, how have you checked if your new article has been indexed? If you are only relying on the email from WA telling you it is indexed it is sometimes very delayed and your article might be indexed even though you did not get the email saying it is.

You can check to be sure by going to good and writing site:yourdomain

so you just replace yourdomain with the url of your article and search. If it shows up it means it has been indexed.
