My Experiences Before I Came to Wealthy Affiliate

Hello my great family! I hope you don't mind my calling you my family. This is how I have felt from the moment I came. Let me tell you of my experiences before I came here.

I started out by looking into investing. I don't make much money, although I do love my job and the people I work for. Churches can't pay out a lot of money. The Religious usually have to rely on donations, so I am in the poor bracket. My family teases me and they call me the Church mouse!😊 Many times I feel that way when I don't have money to pay for something. So, as I was saying, I looked into seeing if I could invest. I found a few. They started out by saying, you only have to pay a small fee to start out. Ok. I can do that. So I purchase something. I go a little deeper in and they want you to subscribe to a newsletter or something so that they can tell you how you do it. The subscriptions get a little pricey because you are subscribing for the full year. So, I tried one subscription. Then you go a little deeper in and in order to really get to know how to invest, you are asked to subscribe to something else. Ok. I start backing out and cancelling. I'm not learning too much yet and I have had to subscribe again. I can't cover that. This is what I experienced a few times. I do think I lost some money on that. Then I get these emails or on Facebook of these places that you can make thousands or millions with no type of experience or you need only click a button and you will automatically get paid and live rich. Ok. So, I looked into several of them. Some say you can do this for free! So, you listen to their videos and their story and at the end, there is a fee that you have to pay to receive your checks! What happened to them saying you can do this for free? Some of them have a small fee to start out with. So, I pay that fee. Then you listen to another video and then you have to pay, some will say, almost $1,000. Some will say, maybe half that. Whatever it is, I don't have anymore money to give, so these leave me out like the investors. There was one I liked. I did check him out, but I backed out because I was afraid I couldn't come up to his expectations and would mess up what he was trying to do. But he also is expensive for me.

I got to the point where, all I was doing now was listening and then not going in. The last time I thought I would check them out. I went online and checked to see if they were a scam. I only checked one or two out. Where I went, I was advised not to join them. Then it was suggested that I check Wealthy Affiliate out. So, I come in here, I look around. I'm invited in by Kyle. He shows me around the dashboard and their usual introduction that they give everyone. I'm looking around for the fee I have to pay. I keep looking on the website. Then I see the price to pay to become a Premium member and it's their introductory price and it's $19. So, I think, okay, I think I can do that. I'm still looking for my entrance fee. I purchase the Premium and go about looking around some more. Little did I realize, until after I became Premium that they let us in for free! I was pleasantly shocked. These people actually let me in for free!!!! I wasn't intimidated in the least! I felt welcome! I felt respected and I had not one regret joining! I did NOT have that feeling about the other places I tried. I felt uneasy with the other places. I want to make money, but I just didn't feel like I was doing something honest. Here there is honesty, respect and actual downright caring. Kyle and Carson show you how to make an honest business. And all of you have been gems! You have been very helpful and encouraging. I have been afraid to make friends, to speak out publically or even to make a blog, like I am doing now! Since I have been here, all of that has changed. I am meeting the most amazing people! I am very happy to be here with all of you!

I know this is a very long blog, but I hope you don't mind my telling you all of these things because it explains why I am happy to be here.
