Let me tell you about some of the things I am interested in.
Hello everyone. I want to tell about one of my passions and that is, all kinds of needlework. Sewing clothes, knitting, crocheting, embroidery. I used to think of embroidery as coloring with thread. When I lived with the Sisters at the Convent, they taught me how to sew their habits. I really enjoyed that! I learned how to make little Nun dolls. That I really enjoyed and had lots of fun!
I have crocheted and knitted many things. Sweatershawls for the Sisters, vest, hats, slippers, shawls and capes. I have even made doll clothes with knitting and crocheting.
I love crosstitching. I love how you can make pictures from crosstitch look so real!
I tried to teach myself from instructions on ratting. I still want to, in my "spare" time to learn more. I tried bobbin lace as well.
I made a tiny little quilt for a baby Jesus statue I have. I live making tiny things. It amazes me how you make the cutest things and make them so small.
This is basically my first attempt at writing for all to see. I hope you will enjoy learning a little more about me as I am excited to get to know more about each of you! Thank you for reading my very first blog!

I too was introduced to needlepoint and cross stitching in my early marriage. I loved doing that fine stitching. You brought back that memory for me too. Thanks.
This is a neat hobby. I taught myself how to crochet a blanket in labor with my oldest daughter. 36 hours later she had a beautiful blanket at that time she was born. This brought me back to seeing her beautiful face for the first time. I like your style.
Kind Regards,
Nurse Becca
Thank you Becca! I thought I had lost that blog too! I couldn't find it after I published it. Forgive my excitement, but I DID IT! Just one slight mistake I found on there and that was ratting was supposed to be tatting.
It was so soft, and my Stephanie used to tickle her nose with it when she was a baby. She will be 23 years tomorrow. Your stories can spark a memory like this for people. Evoke feelings, and that is like a song off the top of the music charts. Just saying, keep up the great work and I'm glad you're here 💝
Oh! You're quite welcome of course. Thank you for bringing me back all the years. God I love her
Thank you Becca. I can't begin to say how happy I am to be here. It has been wonderful learning and meeting such beautiful people as you and all whom I have met in our messages. God bless each and every one of you!
