On the Amazon Associates home page, do the clicks in the graph mean actual clicks on a product link or are they just clicks onto the website?

You have two choices that you can make... check the training and blog tips here at WA (see 1st screen print below).
If you don't find what you are looking for... you may find it advantageous to Google search using the same keywords I did in the 2nd screen print below. The post shown in the featured snippet appears to be very informative.

On the Amazon Associates home page, it says I had three clicks on the 2nd of august. But there is no traffic on that date indicated in Google Analytics home page. What do I do?
but did you have any traffic on the 1st of august?
traffic to amazon has a 24 hour cookie so anyone returning upto 24 hours later is counted.
have you set up each affilaite link as trackable so you can see what link the traffic came through.
how old is your google analytics? is it still gathering data - are all of your posts indexed.
good luck finding the source of your traffic.

My site is indexed. Also this apparent loss of traffic is a sudden thing. I'm not sure my links are set to being able to be tracked. How do I check that? Thanks for the response feigner! I also hope I find out the remedy for my issue!
are all of your posts indexed - each page is indexed seperately.
use site:yoursitename to see what articles google has indexed.
i you have setup tracking ids for your links the you can track traffic to amazon form each link - or at least an article.
have you update d your theme recently and did you add the google code into the head section of your theme.
you can test the traffic by getting google to send test traffic
it will send a bot and it will register on your site.
if you goto google analytics - into admin - tracking info - tracking code
and click on send test traffic - it will take a while, but should come up above the button and say there is traffic on your site.

Also, people could have clicked your links, gotten a cookie, and then skipped your link going directly to Amazon.
So, that they didn't have a trail to follow.

I know how to see the year my site was indexed by Google. It's in the dashboard of course. But when was the exact date?

It appears that you may be able to determine the date. In Google searching your question several posts with answers were provided... see screen print below...

Thanks for your help! I appreciate it. Unfortunately the results were inconclusive. The small caption said June 12 of this year. The result you got was a Q&A site. One person claimed to have a way but I know for sure I got indexed before that date. The rest of the answers basically said there is no way. I'll just let it go. lol. Thanks for your concern! Happy forth of July!
