The Importance of Listening to Leaders & Following Your Gut Instinct

Its been a minute since I posted on this platform. Not that I was not on it just was focusing on business and the tools at hand.

Not sure how I want to go about this post but I do know that one this I have learned in the last six months or so is that times change and so do peoples perspectives.

When it comes to marketing online it is an ever evolving process of old versus new and knowing how to decipher what is truly valuable information instead of emotional jargon disguised in the fear of losing credibility.

When your livelihood is tied up in everything you know and then here comes along a new something that totally contradicts what we have been taught and implemented to see results, it is easy cringe and jump on the bandwagon of devaluation.

The fact is that we are in a new dotcom boom right now and most of everything we held sacred to our content creation process has is is being challenged by new and better tools and resources.

Not only that but Google has a program called "NARD" that threatens the very existence of content creators such as us.

So what do we do? Adapt and coexist. Six months ago I wash bashed on this platform for using ChatGPT. Fast forward to now and you see training videos on it all the time along with blog posts without an ounce of backlash.

What happened? Some woke up and others just stayed silent. Those who woke up went on to create dozens of blogs with massive content like myself that, yes, ranks on Google.

While others are still stuck on the intricacies and suttle unneccessary precautions they feel are important because that is how they were taught to do at one point in time.

In a nutshell, follow sources, several sources. Community is great and very important for support if that is what you need. But where you choose to learn from is vital.

As they say, never put all your eggs in one basket.
