Keep Social Media To A Minimum
We all love social media. But lets be honest, unless you are working on your business page, social media is for exactly that, socializing.
Now I am going to dig in a little deep on this point. From experience and the experience of many others if you spend too much time scrolling, commenting and doing what ever, that is time you are taking away from building your business.
No one goes to social media to research what they want to buy next. They go to Google and YouTube.
If you are to build a business that is sustainable. time management is going to be key and where you spend your time.
You want to be doing "Income Producing Activities".
I see so many people make the mistake of focusing all their efforts on social media to build their business without realizing the mindset of people their is not to buy or at best curiosity.
Regardless of your niche, social media is good for creating awareness of your offer only along with just being you. Not bombarding your friends with your biz opp, quotes and rants.
Choose Your Learning Source And Stick To It
When you are getting your training information from various sources yo will always get conflicting data.
If you are a new affiliate this will lead to confusion, lack of production or loss of money.
Sometimes what sounds good. doesn't produce good, in fact more often than not. Make sure that you are getting your training from a source that has a proven track record and that you can actually reach out to several people for a testimonial.
Don't try to reinvent the wheel. Success leaves blueprints. All you have to do is do what someone else did to achieve success and that success will reach you also.
Stay Away From Toxic, Negative, "Poor Me" Mind Sets
The people we interact with everyday on or offline will play a role in our frame of mind. That will then affect the way we go about building our businesses.
If you think you will be a success, you will be. If you think its too hard or not for you, it will be also. You decide.
These mind sets are usually attributed from the people we are around or interact with on or offline.
If your livelihood, business and family are important to you, your future depends on the way you choose to think and talk about.
Pick Your Niche Or Create A Personal Blog

Well done, Yes I am guilty of too much socializing, but thats how i found WA to beging with so its not all bad. I personally had to develop new habits to keep myself going that was as hard as quitting smoking , well almost. I am seeing my work finally paying off which is awesome. I am also finding the more I learn the more information I am requiring. Which brings me to using the assets here at WA everyone is so willing to help me succede.
The best advice i can give if you are getting overwhelmed or stuck and just are not comprehending something I assure you there is someone here to help you or guide you in your sucess.

Community is gold. If you do not have the help and support in any business, in time you will get frustrated and quit when you aren't seeing results or progress.
JR, thank you for writing this post. I appreciate you taking the time to write this. Everything you stated is the truth. There are no free rides in life. I agree with you about staying away from toxic negative people. I support the notion that this platform is priceless compared to paying thousands from other gurus who take your money and run. I am here to stay too.
It just makes sense to stick to where you have the support and tools you need. Sometimes people are blinded by the need for fast cash.
Yes, the fast cash which is the shiny object syndrome. A lot of people are tempted to look elsewhere but sadly there is no pot of gold at the end of the rainbow for them. It takes work to build a business.

On my way to job this morning, I was listening to a podcast episode from 2014 by Pat Flynn about the same topic you write about (obviously not specific to WA).
His message was, no matter which platform you promote, your product, your own blog etc; focus on one thing and keep working on it until the results start showing i.e. traffic to your blog. Keep adding lots of quality content and get that traffic flowing to your blog.
