I didn't click the link in the message body for obvious reasons, but I did nervously click on the unsubcribe link at the bottom. Then I clicked on the logo for netatlantic.com and here's where I landed...

Did you like the email you just received? With Net Atlantic’s email marketing solutions it’s easy to create, send, and manage your email campaigns. ( They cleverly forgot to mention how easy it is to dupe and mislead people)
No I did not like this email, it startled me for a second with the subject line. Action taken.... Unsubscribe.

#2. Subject: Access Request: Granted
Funny, I don't remember making this request. This email is a Saturday Special Edition ( not sure why it's special ) newsletter saying this guy has a special gift for me and all I have to do is
"sign up for it here". (Seriously, if you have a special "gift" for me I should only have to unwrap it, not give you my first born for it, if I have to earn it then it's not really a gift, now is it. However, in all fairness to this "guru", at some point I must have subscribed to his "My Wealth and Freedom VIP Newsletter" (lucky me I'm a VIP) so I guess he has my permission to mislead me. Not anymore though.. action taken... Unsubscribe.
P.S. This email was addressed to "Friend", please, they could have at least put %firstname% in their autoresponder service.

#3. Subject: *** FREE - Traffic Blueprint! ***
This guy is going to give me a free blueprint that will allow me to generate gobs of traffic on demand and all I have to do is PAY for this FREE blueprint with my best email address.( Uh Hello... you just sent me this email at my best email address, what are you, in the early stages of dementia or something?)
Oh and thanks for the added opportunites to receive "FREE - Micromodel Business
System Software!" from some other famous Guru who has made "$38 million dollars online" and has agreed to let me use his personal and private software for "Free".( Uh.. but only for a month.)
BUT WAIT! That's not all I also get access to his.
Highly Recommended!

Kris Kristofferson may have been onto something when he penned these words in his musings made famous by Janis Joplins' rendition of "Me and Bobbi McGee"... "nothin ain't worth nothin if it an't free".
Action taken.....Unsubscribe.

Okay, okay, I could do this all day, because I have apparently at one time or another signed up for every Tom, Dick, and Harry's claim to show me how to finally "have the life I have always dreamed of", but seriously, they don't know what my dreams consist of, nor are they interested in getting to know them or me for that matter. But I won't do that, I think you get the picture and the unsubscribe button stands a good chance of crashing from overload today. I'm cleaning house, getting my act together, separating the chaff from the wheat ( or vice versa, however it goes, but you know what I mean. Don't You?)

Okay, Okay, yes I really, really could this all day, but again I won't. At least not here in this post. But I will do WA all day and into 2013 and beyond. You know why, of course you do, but I'm gonna tell you anyway lest you forget.
ABSOLUTELY NOTHING that I have ever received from WA in my email has ever smacked of gobbletygook. (Whatever that is) I don't delete emails from WA, (when it comes to quality info. I'm somewhat of an email hoarder) all others from so called IM'ers and IM'er wannabes is just clutter. Did I mention I'm cleaning house today, yes, yes I believe I did. (I may have mad cow disease or possibly be in the early stages of it)
ACTION TAKEN: Thankful continued support of WA, it's founders, team and awesome community, through my paid (not "Free" although that one truly is what it says it is, except you still have to register with your "best email address" but what an infinitesimally microscopically small price to pay for a ROI of such grandeur) membership month in and month out. I've been here a year now and it did not take me long to see the value WA and it's membership has to offer.
Seriously, I have not become rich or famous or even able to "fire my boss" yet (which is me btw, I do have my own offline business that puts the groceries on my table), but I have been putzing around this "make money online" circus for close to 10 yrs now ( and when I say "putzing" that's exactly what I mean, obviously) and I have come to the healthy objective, unsponsored, unpaid conclusion that WA not only holds center ring but is the "Big Top" when it comes to honest, ethical and altruistic teachings for those who wish to "finally have the life they've always dreamed of".
Thanks EVERYONE, for taking the time to read the musings of yet another "dreamer". I sincerely hope you all, each and everyone, have the most blessed, happy, merry, joyous, splendiferous holiday season ever.
Seriously, the best is yet to come and I for one am excited. Hope you are too.

You've stuck it out for a whole year and you're still enthusiastic. Bravo. I like Billy Crystal too.
Yes dazzlefish, it's obvious to me that all the tools I need can be found right here.Trust me, I have felt like Tim the Toolman Taylor over the years with all the different things I've tried, and WA is by far, hands down, Bob's your Uncle, the Best. Billy Crystal has a new movie out, looks like a good one too. All the best to you and yours and thanks for the read and the comment.
oh, this is wonderful. Just a delight. I hope the Clickbank one was you making a joke. Here's to haoli makahiki hou (that's Happy New Year, in Hawaiian.)
Thank you reefswimmer and Fleas Navy Dog, that's hillbilly for Merry Christmas. The clickbank one was a real email but not from Clickbank, the parts in parenthesis were my thoughts and interjections. Ya really gotta watch those scoundrels. Thanks for reading and Happy New Year to you and yours.
yup, here's to watching out for scoundrels. Some of these are reminiscent of the Nigerian letter-writing scams---I was the "lucky" recipient of one of their original ones, handwritten and sent decades ago on those now-obsolete blue airmail self-mailer things. I should have saved and framed it. Someone would pay well for it today on eBay.
Fleas Navy Dog to you too. and Mele Kalikimaka.
Thanks jde... 1500 in a year and a half? I'll see your 1500 and raise you 3500 in about 4 weeks, ( I did a cleaning about a month ago, but didn't hit the unsubscribe button, just deleted) Some of these guys and gals are relentless. they've got persistence down, I'll give em that much. Unclutter my mind, unclutter my life. Good for you.
Very good musings , Johnney. Hey, you know what? I cleaned house yesterday, and am refocusing my determination, as well. I rid my email manager of around 1500 emails that have built up over the last year and a half, and have been unsubscribing from certain lists that seem to just waste more precious time than are actually worth it.
