I do these 6 "mental exercices" every day and it helps me tremendously

Got a great blog for you guys today and I think some you will like it. I followed a program of one month about "mind powers" from John Kehoe and yes, it does work.

Every morning, when I wake up, I do 30 minutes of exercices. It doesn't work after 1 day. It doesn't work after 2 days. It doesn't work after 3 days. It doesn't work after 4 days. It doesn't work after 5-6-7-8-9-10-11-12-13-14-15-16 days.

But eventually it will work. When you enter the gym do get fit after 1 day? When you start doing stretching do you get more flexible after 1 day? When you start to learn to cook do you become a chef after 1 day? Put one drop of dye every day in an aquarium only full of water and when do you think you will start to see a difference in the color of the water? Surely not after 4-5 days. It takes perseverance and after about 60-90 days this is where these exercices starts to transform your life.

Every day I do these exercices and, from weeks to weeks, I might change some if I feel I need to.


#1 - For 5 minutes: I visualize myself being a confident person. I visualize myself being comfortable in any situation and that I am not letting myself intimidated by anything. I let the "feeling" of being confident enter my mind and my body.

#2 - For 5 minutes: I visualize myself being someone who always focus on his goal. I visualize myself focusing on my business. I tell myself that nothing in my reality can affects me, I do not react to anything happens to me and I do not react to any negative thoughts. I let myself having the "feeling" of someone who only focuses on his goal.

#3 - For 5 minutes: I keep saying this phrase "Yes I can". For 5 whole minutes I keep saying this sentence out loud and "acknowledging it in my mind. Knowing while I say it that what I am saying it's true, that indeed, Yes I can. You don't need to believe it. Just keep saying it. One day, it will become a belief imprinted inside your brain and whenever you will be facing a situation, a voice in your head will keep saying to you "Yes, I can".

#4 - For 5 minutes: I visualize myself being productive and that I achieve my small goals. I imagine myself doing many things in a day. I visualize myself being efficient and "fast". I imagine myself writing my daily/weekly goals down and checkmarking them. I visualize myself being someone who achieve his goals every day.

#5 - For 5 Minutes: I imagine that everything goes well within my business and that I am successful, that I have achieve my biggest goal which is building an online business and having a full time income. I imagine having this full time income, I imagine a lot of visitors going to my site, I visualize having lots of sales and that many people encourage me and love my website. I imagine being successful right now. The key here is to imagine as if it is happening "right now".

#6 - For 5 minutes: I tell myself and my mind that I love what I do (this is my favorite one). Visualizing myself writing articles, learning about my niche, learning everything tips and tricks from Wealthy Affiliate, and telling myself that this is what I like to do in my life. I adore learning my niche, I adore writing content, I adore helping people. Why is this my favorite? Because by convincing yourself that you love what you do, how could you not enjoy building a business? How could you not be successful? The whole process will be thousands times easier if you love what you do. Keep imagining yourself writing articles and learning knew things and that it is fun. Keep smiling while you imagine it. (I always do this one at the end because I feel so enthused and empowered and then I just get out of my bed and be productive)

When I get out of my bed I always say: "I am so proud of myself" and then you don't think about your exercices anymore and you let them go. You just keep focusing on your daily goals.

Hi Jp, liked the mental exercises article. What the mind can believe and conceive, it can deliver.

I do something similar. Have been doing it for two years this coming March. Wow Amazing result.
