Are you working on your niche?
Hi friends,
Today, I don't want to blog about anything serious. I wanted to work on my fun stuff - my niche. You hear this word "niche" frequently on WA. What is a niche?
Rather than defining what a niche is, I want to share something from my niches. Photography is a niche I want to develop further into an online business. Here is a shot I took with a macro lens on a Nikon D5200. It is a picture of a succulent flower. I hope you like it. The name tribalmystic is from my other blog. I have copyrighted the blog's content under Creative Commons (CC). Some of your artists and creators will know about CC. If anyone has any suggestions about a photographic niche, please drop me a line or comment.
Keep working on your niche. The best way to develop an online business is starting with something you love. I have yet to get there myself.

Stunning pic! You seem to have a niche already - capturing beauty in the garden that you are making beautiful... Since gardening is what you love and evidently you take such beautiful pics of it, why not combine the two and you have the perfect niche and content with pics to boot!
Your blog post name "Tribalmystic" - what is that all about? I like it and it lends a mysteriousness and almost shamanic vibe to you, care to elaborate as this is also a niche thing in the making (or is it already)?

Thank you so much. I'm glad you liked this picture. I actually wrote a poem about succulents because they are such delicate yet, very hardy plants. I am very spiritual because that was how I was brought up. I learnt to live within my means and in balance with nature. I guess moving to Australia made me realise how my life in Papua New Guinea was was precious. It was also moulded before I got here. I do love the garden and bush...
I am working on an art site and also some of my photos are already on tribalmystic.me and Zazzle. I am building something with WA to combine everything, but I want to complete all my training first. Everyone has been so wonderful here in WA. I do get distracted with all the learning, comments, socialising and reading. I hope you find your way sooner and if not, we will all help. :) Thank you again.

Stunning website and art and literature. Thank you for sharing, you are a most talented and connected creative creature indeed! Yes, all the comments and loads of stuff on WA is certainly VERY distracting - as well as informative! I also have an art website and am linking it to my WA website, and synchronizing my interests as I go. My WA website here is greenlivingforfreedom.com if u have a moment. It is still in the early stages though so I need to do lots more on the content, keyword things and then links, as well as getting it ranked on google and all that. The business side of practicing art has always been my less strong point so at WA I am hopefully learning to master that less developed side as well...

Good for you. I'm good, doing the same. I could not get into level 2 for ages, but now I can - funny. Learning and building my sites too. It's fun. Adding links are driving me crazy but I am progressing slowly. I just want to get my art site up soon. I work full-time so everything gets done when I get home (and then there is house work and mummy stuff :)

I love taking photos of flowers. I think you have the same camera that I do. I need to learn how to use mine more.
Hi Debbie, I have a Nikon D5200. It is great!. Just shoot anything - then see where you can improve, that's what I do. Are you still travelling? I am doing that now. Will be away for another 3 weeks. Have fun with your camera.
