Write posts that make sense - write what you know
I write for another blog and WA is a learning space for me. I found that my readership stats dipped while I was away and then it picked up very quickly. Over two years of blogging in a blind fold, I have come to realise that writing posts that make sense, is what really draws your traffic. It is always best to write about what you know.
I have read some people argue that you need to post every day and write regularly. What happens when you post senseless articles and blog posts? Readers do not read anything - especially if it does not make sense. The post has to be interesting and teach your reader something new or something good. Blog posts can deflect your readers/traffic as easily as it attracts them.
Always aim to write quality posts. Share it with someone and ask for their opinion. Then, no matter what - even if you take three weeks or a months holiday, your readers will be there for you. They know what is coming when you write again.

So true Joyce, write as if you really are giving new information to someone who has never heard it.
Good content with nice pictures. The picture aspect is something I really just started getting serious about. The content has not been a problem for me!

Hi Joyce,
I think you are so right, too many people write pointless blogs, but then it becomes like the boy who called wolf all the time, when they have something worthwhile to say nobody bothers to read it.
Best wishes, Trevor.
Hi Joyce, You are right...I will read quality over quantity every time, and if the posts are just filler or fluff, likely will not be back! Cheers! Dave : )
Thank you Joyce, I needed to read this tonight. 'Sharing is Caring'
