That time of year in Jamaica
Yes. It is that time of year when people all over the world get together and celebrate family, religion, cultural practices. It is also the time of year when people review the year that is closing out, analyse the wins and the losses, and make some resolutions for the approaching year.
I live on an island called Jamaica. Unlike many persons who are cloaked in sweaters and boots at this time, we are walking around in tees and flip flops. This year the beaches are closed and the Christmas markets have been banned. Curfew is announced for 7pm to 5am to get everyone off the streets in the evening.
Our people find ways of celebrating Christmas. Tomorrow, people will worship with online services and families, in small groups, will sit down to a meal of jerk meats, ham, salads, rice and peas, curry goat and dessert of rich black cake and sorrel drink.
Where are you ? Wherever you are in the world, I wish for you a peaceful season, and a safe and healthy new year making lots of money on WA.

I envy you having jerk meat for a meal. I get it rarely but love it. I have learned the art of the jerk marinade and the method of cooking, unfortunately I am the only one in my household who likes it. I hope you had a Merry Christmas.
Jerry
Hi Jerry. Every now and then prepare a jerk feast for yourself. There are many brands of jerk marinade. One day they might find one that they like. Yes thanks, I had a quiet Christmas with only 3 family members this year. I hope you have a happy, healthy and successful new year 2021. Thanks for the link up.
