No Multitasking !
We have so many things to get done, and so little time. We have found ourselves in a generation in which everyone wants you to deliver right now, or better still, yesterday.
So how do we react ? We try to do five times the amount of work in a short time, doing several things at a time. Parents with young kids know exactly what I am talking about. Wholesalers, retailers who are trying to keep customers happy do this everyday.
Then there are the online entrpreneurs who sit in front of that computer doing several things at once. Several windows are open doing tasks that are mutually exclusive.
What does that do to our minds and our bodies? Who invented that buzz word 'Multitasking'?
That attitude will make you sick. One thing at a time. Get up, stretch, or go for a walk. The work will still be there when you get back.
Are there any tools and attitudes that you can adapt to avoid multitasking ? Please share.

I'm a multi-tasker. The only attitude you can adopt to avoid multi-tasking is pick one thing and do it--One niche--one job. Either that or learn how to outsource! Or as I've said before, make several clones of yourself!π
Ha ha. I guess we canβt avoid it altogether. It makes sense to focus or else we will have many tasks outstanding and in various stages. Thanks Jeffrey
Learning to do many things in a day is what separates the successful people from others! All the best! Cheers! ππ²π₯ππβ
To a certain extent I think we all multi-task out of necessity. We start something, get interrupted while still thinking abut what we were doing, then get back to it. I'm great at multitasking for household or routine things but I try really hard to avoid doing it when it involves me trying to be creative. Or just using my brain to do something new.
Thanks for sharing. There are lots of opinions on this topic.

I agree Erica, we all do it to some degree, but we have to check up on ourselves periodically, especially when we are not getting the intended results. Thanks

I multi-task like crazy... do I really accomplish anything?
Wellllll, yes, I do if I take whatever situation I'm in into consideration and prioritize from there.
