Today I have become a premium member of WA!
5 Days ago I opened a free account here at WA, with the attitude that I'll try this out, but the chances are I won't be parting with any cash. There are many cautious, dubious people out there, and I am most definitely one of them!
Today I made the decision to become a premium member of Wealthy Affiliate, and I'm already loving it!. I feel deep down that I have made the right choice, and that WA is the best opportunity to accomplish my target.....
...Which is to stop being depressed working 9-5 for very little to show for myself, and to start loving life (again) doing something that I'm good at, and that I enjoy. Financial freedom is a bonus, but happiness is my ultimate goal.
For the last 9 years or so I feel as though I have just "existed". Minimum wage does not provide a life, nor a lifestyle. It provides survival. Nothing more. I hate my job, it takes me 3 hours a day to travel, and I come home exhausted and fed up most days. Today I have taken the steps to try to better myself.
This really is do or die for me, and I feel slightly overwhelmed and encouraged with the sheer quantity of support, expertise and experience that the WA community provides, and I am very thrilled to be a member of this awesome community. I already have some experience in writing, as I have spent a lot of my time over the past 18 months writing guides/walkthroughs for video games. My grammar skills have picked up through my hobby(ies), and I feel slightly equipped for writing blogs and articles etc., which will help.
The "key-words" (no pun intended) for me to focus on over the next few months are CCL - Creation, Content and Learning. I'm not expecting to see immediate results, but I am confident that with patience and persistence (of which I know I have bucket-loads of both), I will eventually see success and find the type of happiness and fulfillment that I have been searching for!

Congratulations on leaping to premium! You're lucky because, your first attempt in this kind of opportunity landed you to a legit company. Others (including me), we first went through several trial and errors with different companies for years before we landed here. So, make the best out of this! =)
I spent 2 whole evenings looking into WA before even creating a free account. I then spent all week (after completing the free training) looking into WA and affiliate marketing as a whole before making the step to becoming premium. I know for a fact that WA is the real deal, and that affiliate marketing is something I want to make a go of.
