Easiest way to find FREE royalty-free images
Hi, hows it going, I hope everyone is well? If not, get well soon :P
OK then, as I'm sure that everyone within Wealthy Affiliate is aware of by now, you CANNOT just simply search Google for any image that you want for your website. You're just asking to get sued that way.
And, as I'm sure most of you are aware of, there are over a dozen dozen sites out there that host FREE royalty-free images for you to download; Wikimedia Commons being the most recognized.
How long have YOU spent trying to get that great image (without having to fork out)? I know that it would take me forever to scour each and every site in search of the image that speaks to me.
Not anymore.
Here's a great tip for y'all:
1) Search Google images for the criteria you're after
2) Click "search tools"
3) Click "usage rights"
4) Click "labelled for reuse"
And viola!
Google will now search all of the FREE image hosting sites for you, which will save you the leg work of having to scour each and every site yourself for the image you are after.
I can usually find what I'm after in a very short space of time that way.
And if I can't......
Then I pay for my images
And as we all know, they aren't cheap, HOWEVER, I have found one site that is very reasonably priced, and completely within my budget, although I did have to buy in bulk:
£80 (or $100) got me 85 images. Perfect!
Hope this helps!
*Update*
As BigTonyC has pointed out in the comments section below,
http://search.creativecommons.org/
is another way for you too search for royalty-free images without having to do the leg-work. Thanks BigTonyC!

Or you could use that site!
Great suggestion Tony, creative commons is awesome, I wish I'd know about it sooner. Ill update my blog. Thanks for that!!!
Thank you so much for this! I was trying to find a pic the other day and got so frustrated after about an hour. I gave up and created what I needed to stop wasting time. This will come in handly! Cheers!
Yeah, I must've spent 3 hours one Sunday just looking for pics, to end up unhappy with the pics that I had settled with. This Google trick would have saved me a bunch of time!!

Another good site i use is pixabay.com
Yeah, pixabay is good, but I do believe that Google also picks up images from pixabay when filtering to "labelled for reuse"
is that a bad thing?
I just reread your post and understand now, duyh!!
Lol :)
