Thank you Amazon-Eggs in one Basket
u
After my first sale, Amazon had issues with my site because I had the price of the item displayed and I was no longer allowed to be there affiliate. I could be wrong, but, I read the agreement and I did not see that I should not have the price displayed. I was merely following what I was taught in WA. I felt a warning to remove the price would have been sufficient. But no, they used the mighty hand and kicked me away. The following morning, all my links were broken.
You might have figured out, yes, I cried. I cried like a baby. And, needless to say, for a few hours I was sick of using so much of my time and sweat on WA as well. I looked at the site from the tutorial Kyle did and you can bet your last dollar the price was included, in exactly the same way I displayed my price.????
I wrote Amazon and I got a very sterile response, telling me to re-apply and of course, not mentioning the sales I had before.
The good thing, for which I thank Amazon for, is that I bounced back quickly, re-applied to an organization I am not sure I can trust after today, but it drove me to actively checking out other affiliate programs in my niche and I am loving what I see. Yes, we were told before that Amazon was not the only program and that we should look for others. Yes, I was a little tardy. There was just so much to learn, so I decided to do Amazon, then I would check out others during my Summer break.
Thanks to Amazon, I am checking other affiliate programs now and I have been approved by two so far.
My friends and WA family members, there is always light at the end of the tunnel and never place your eggs in one basket.
