Birthday get-a-way

My parents and I decided to take a road trip for my birthday, and since I couldn't take off work that week, I thought I would take off the week after, so early Thursday morning, after getting up and dress I was on my way for a two-hour road trip to meet up with my parent's but to meet them, requires me to drive across one of the tallest bridges in the country, the bay bridge which is 22,789 feet long and is 354 feet high

Crossing over it was still a 45-minute drive to Cambridge Maryland which is near Ocean City ( a major beach gateway)

Driving over another smaller bridge lead me to Cambridge, after taking a left and driving through the gate to cross over a very nice wooden bridge

After crossing that nice vintage looking bridge lead us to the Hyatt hotel where I meet my parents to enjoy three days of nice relaxing vacation----------

So the three of us checked in to our room, and unpacked our bags, later the next day my sister came, my brother-in-law and my god-daughter to stay with us so we kept the two room's we originally had, but we did not stay in the rooms, there was just too much to do at the resort the day we did arrive my mother and I took a look around at some hundreds of miles paths

There was 3 nice pools,2 hot tub's, miniature golf, volley ball court, jet ski rentals, bike rentals and the hotel sits on one of the nice golf courses in Maryland overlooking the water one of the swimming pools had a hot tube that lead outside so you can stay in while being inside or our, just imagine how nice that was, the indoor pool also had a movie playing every night while relaxing in the pool

Due to Covid our family plans where put on hold from going there because of it shutting down and even though I was off for a month of work with pay, we all just stayed in our houses, when going there last week the hotel was only 50 percent capacity, which made it a lot less crowded Water slide of the outside pool with baseball and water fountains

Some other pictures from my phone is of walking trails, a ramp going our on the water and a nice fire pit to create some smor's every even

So all in all what did I think of the Hyatte Regency Chesapeake bay, golf resort, spa and Marina

I can't recommend it enough, if you don't mind being pampered, relaxed and enjoy good food and if you ever in Maryland and have some time, visit the resort overlooking the Chesapeake bay, 2 thumbs up for this resort
