It easy to get distracted by the very goal we are trying to reach. It's sounds counter-intuitive, but the truth is that the journey is more valuable than the aim itself. All the vital lessons lie in the trials and errors.
The goal is fine, but it's not what tests us - it only says that we have crossed a particular finish line that we have determined to be of value.
So, let's not get discouraged when we haven't "made it" - rather be glad that we're in the most vibrant part of the process.
Ever since childhood, we've been taught to focus on the outcome. How has this work for most of us? Personally, it has sapped the joy right out of life.

We are creators, and as long as we are creating consciously what we desire, we're happy. When we manifest what we don't wish for or worse what we fear feelings of frustation take hold. The only difference between these two is wether we have mastered the wand or not. The power is within us regardless.
The point I'm trying to make is that we're always creating - all day every day. The different goals we set for ourselves are situations we believe to be desirable. How we came to believe this is rooted in our upbringing and culture.
The point is to be happy with what we are - creators. Positive results confirm that you have the power to manifest within your grasp. Negative results only points out that you have some work to do in your creative prowess. Or, there may be other reasons.
If you see yourself unable to reach a certain destination, ask yourself if that is something you really want. Or, is it something others view as worthy and therefore you do as well, without really considering it.
Be true to yourself and follow what you truly love. Create what excites your intellect and gets your heart racing.
This may or may not interest others - but it really doesn't matter, because it's your journey. You are the main critic and your manifestations come to fruition to please you.
When others are pleased consider it an extra incentive. That is likely to happen since there are many of us who share similar interests.
Enjoy the journey; this the most important part of the whole process. It is when you grow and discover yourself.
