So Far, So Good
I set out last week to complete 6 articles per week on my website with the limited time I had. It brings me pleasure to say that I officially submitted my sixth article and did so within a week's time.
I consider this a success because it means I have fulfilled my established goal. I could have been more conservative and said three or four articles were my goal. The truth is that may actually suffice in most cases. However, I really wanted to challenge myself.
I wanted to show myself that even though I work through the night, take care of my kids during the day, and find time to take my daughter to soccer practice or take care of my wife or cook and clean: that through all of that I could still budget time to create content for my website.
Do I get physically and mentally fatigued? You bet your a** I do, but if it means running on fumes I'm still going to get this done. Don't get me wrong, if I'm falling asleep in front of the computer then I am at a stopping point. As long as I can generate a complete thought, I am still going to crank out content.
For the longest time, my wife would tell me that I am capable of doing so much more. It's time for me to stop talking about how much more I can do: it's time to start ACTUALLY doing more! My motto: All Action, No Excuses. What do you all think of this? Thanks for all the support WA peeps, I have no intention of letting you or myself down.

If my words are inspiring to you, then my post is fulfilling its purpose. You will always encounter challenges on the path to success. The question is: what are you going to do when you encounter those challenges?
Do you look for a shortcut to bypass those challenges?
Do you give up on pursuing your goals because the challenge cannot be overcome?
Or do you meet the challenge head on and show yourself that you cannot be stopped?!
Sure, taking a shortcut might get you by that challenge, but there is no lesson learned through shortcuts. And you can rest assured that another - potentially greater - challenge will come. What will you do then?
Yes, you can also choose to stop everything, but that is like giving yourself no chance. If you try, you are guaranteed a shot at success. If you do not try, then you are guaranteed failure.
Never be afraid to meet your challenges head on: and believe me, they WILL come. The most gratifying feeling is overcoming those challenges and leaving them behind you with a smile on your face. By facing up to them, you are learning from those experiences. You will then be capable of preparing yourself for the next challenge that comes.
I have plenty of battle scars, I have been knocked down. I have been told I can't. I get back up every time, and look at anyone who tells me I can't and say two words: "watch me."
