Keeping Accountability Pt. 2
So this marks the end of my first week here on WA. Right now, I have a website in place and things are going smoothly at the moment. I'm pretty psyched because it didn't take much time before my status indicated that my site is already indexed on Google! Now it is a matter of getting traffic through to the site and start generating income.
I have an Amazon affiliate account set up, and will soon start posting up articles with links to items for people to look into and hopefully buy. Anyway, take a look at the site and let me know what you think!
It's a work in progress, but any and all feedback is welcome. Please be brutally honest with me. Don't hold anything back.
My goal for the next few weeks is to try and set up a Facebook account dedicated to this site and see if I can get to networking on that end. While I do that, I am trying to pace myself on the content side. I am going to shoot to create two posts per section, per week. That would add up to a total of 6 posts per week. I plan to introduce a topic in one post, and then follow it up with a post providing recommendations and links to the items for purchase. What do you think of that approach? Would you do it differently?

Thank you very much for the words of encouragement, RaeAnne! That definitely boosts my confidence! The idea is inspired by a conversation I had with my wife. While it didn't exactly involve the concept of gift for dads, it was more about surviving life as opposed to living life. My argument was I would rather enjoy some of the things I want and have nothing left in the bank account than to survive on what I need and have a financial cushion.
The want vs. need debate is what inspired me to start this site up. Can't we all get a LITTLE something we want in life?!
