Choosing My First Niche

Niche is a scary word when you are just starting this process. For me it meant finding something with no competition I would have a chance in the sea of big dogs out there already selling. But all niche's are going to have competition it seems. No matter what i looked up, there were sites doing what i wanted to do.

The lesson on picking your first niche really helped me gain perspective that in picking a niche you are picking an audience of people to talk to and engage, and by adding your own personal flare to the niche you are carving out a slice of those people to be your followers, friends, and loyal customers.

So picking the niche after that didn't seem so scary. It just meant i had to put my site out there, directed at my chosen audience, and build.
