Email Setup on a Smartphone Tips
I ran into a couple of roadblocks while I was setting up my email account on my smartphone, but after a little more research from a few different posts I was able to configure my account quickly and easily.
I have my emails push through on the same widget as my Gmail emails. In the drop down menu you go to add account and follow the prompts.
TIP: It is best to NOT do this on WI-FI. My email account would not fully setup until I went through my phones Internet.
Continue to fill out the prompts with the information gathered from WA email.
TIP: In the Incoming Settings the Security is NONE. I left the Port at its default at 143.
Outgoing Settings
Continue to fill prompts with correct information. My setup had it pre-filled with incorrect information, so I had to change everything.
TIP: Change security to NONE, change Port to 25, and the Password is different than the login password. Make sure the outgoing password is correct.

Wow, I could have really used this when I first started because that an this Ipad was all I had with my hotspot. I can’t tell you how many days I worked on that problem until.........I bought a laptop.
Never figured it out. Googled everybody. Couldn’t make it work. $1000 later, yeah!
