There have been a LOT of us WA members stating this issue and I can tell you what happened with me in FINALLY getting my phone number accepted.... keep trying.

Honestly, that IS the secret. I must have repeated the process 10 times before Amazon's automated system FINALLY accepted my phone number.

Some members went so far as to contact the Amazon affiliate support staff and they too could NOT assist them.

So, you really are stuck with the same process that we have all come to learn is Amazon's "normal", and simply keep repeating the steps until their system finally accepts your telephone number.
