Would you get mad about this?

One of my mentors often says... "It amazes me that so many people sign up to my list to learn about marketing and THEN complain about me marketing to them!"

He suggests that a much better approach is to study and model what he does...

I tend to agree...

I've been building an online business since 2014 and have been learning the ropes about marketing and online sales... and in that time I've promoted quite a few products and programs that I KNOW will help people make money online IF THEY IMPLEMENT THEM...

Now you would think that most people would be happy about that and try and improve there lives, right?

WRONG!!!

Sadly, most people do nothing...

In fact, some people complain...

The funniest thing I find is when people email me back, and they seem quite mad and DEMAND I take them off my list...

I have to wonder about their intelligence when all they have to do is click the unsubscribe button at the bottom of the email!

I end up deleting these people anyway...

They are just whingers, whiners and complainers living very sad lives, unwilling to change things for themselves...

Are you one of these people?

Beholden to the society norm?

Or are you willing to step out of your comfort zone, learn new skills and take the steps to create financial freedom for yourself and help improve the lives of others in the process?

Are you willing to learn and model other successful people or complain about them and be happy in your misery?

The strategies for success are right here at WA if you choose to follow them!

I know which option I am choosing...

What is your choice?

To our freedom,

John

Thanks for this John and you are right people nowadays are just so lazy, they won’t do it themselves though because then they can’t complain. You do the right thing just deleting them.

Well you know what I am doing as I am here the same as you. Xxx

Absolutely Cheryl! Thanks :-)

I find the same thing with networking with folks on social media. Sometimes they message you about how to get started but when you point them in the right direction, they do nothing.

Social media is full of tire kickers and time wasters. I rarely bother with it unless it's throwing money into ads lol.

SEO is definitely the best method to attract REAL ACTION TAKERS and customers :)

1

Definitely Neil! You have to focus on activities with the ROI! Cheers :-)

We must surround ourselves with positive minded people and avoid negative minded people as good as it is possible. Just like Loes says we must be a role model to them and hope that they will awaken and change their mindset.

So you are right, John, don't let the negative people steal your energy.

Have an awesome positive day!!
:-)

Same to you Pernilla :-)

Hey John, I follow the 3 W's and it always works for me.
Some Will
Some Won't
So What?
Keep at it, I say to them what my mentor taught me years back.

"Don't wish it was easy, wish you were better,
Don' wish for less problems wish for more skills
Don't Wish for less challenge wish for more wisdom".

Life and business is a challenge that we face every day, that you for enlightening me that I am on the right path. Make it a great stay!

Great advice :-)

I think it's easy for people to lose track of all the newsletters they subscribe to. Sometimes they think they're being spammed, and sometimes they aren't. Perhaps some of your complainers forgot who you were one day and were affronted by the marketing messages? Yes, you're right. They may always unsub without any fuss.

Lately, I've noticed a trend in the newsletters of a couple of my favourite bloggers where, rather than placing the 'unsubscribe' button at the bottom of their emails, they make a loud announcement right at the top. I really like it. Something to the effect of - 'we really don't want to waste your time! Unsubscribe right here if you want to!'

I have never read such a message at the beginning of an email and thought myself, you know what, I think I WILL. I just keep reading.

On the other hand, I keep track of who gets what email by adding a unique tag to my gmail whenever I subscribe somewhere, so that if a person says they will *never ever* share or sell my email, and I suddenly begin getting unsolicited letters to that unique email, I know who did it. Instant, silent banishment follows, and a block in the email.

1

I have noticed that with a few marketers I follow as well, I might try that when I next send out to my list!
I also like the "unique tag" tip! Thanks Ivy :-)

I don't have a list but, I do know when I sign up to someone's list what to expect so, I am totally confused on why anyone would get mad about something he or she signed up for...That just doesn't make no sense. I guess, they were not serious in the first place...

It is confusing sometimes Lakisha! :-)

When I suggest people change what they are doing, many ask me why they should change. It is the other guy who is wrong!

Have you ever thought that the only person you can change is yourself. If you have been nagging at your husband to pick up his dirty socks for thirty years do you think continuing what you have been doing is going to accomplish anything.

Those who don't want to change, don't want to learn new things, don't want what WA offers.

2

You can only change when you want to yourself Bill! Cheers :-)

Wow, yeah I don’t understand people at all. It’s all about excuses I think. Lazy, lack of motivation, who knows and they need an excuse. Great analogy.... I sell a microfiber cleaning cloth and other cleaning products that only clean by enzymes and not chemicals. Their cleaning power is so superior. I use all the products because they are so superior to chemicals but the fact that they are not chemical is a huge bonus. I don’t believe in hard selling them but I do tell people how great they are. I’m willing to sell at a discount. People will just comment how much they love the stuff and would love to switch to them but then just keep using their same old junk. I get tired of even telling people after awhile - just wastes my breath!

Absolutely Michelle! Thanks :-)

I totally agree with you! I am not in the make money online niche and I don't have an email list yet but I understand what you mean.

If they didn't want the information, why did they sign up? If they decide they don't want the information, unsubscribe! Or at least ask to be taken off the list nicely!

Some people are just very negative in general!
Jessica

Unfortunately so Jessica! Thanks :)

These people sound like the wrong audience. I call them the lazy and unwilling audience.

So many people interested in making money online buy into the deception that you can make huge amounts of money with little effort when the reality is making money online is a full-time job.

Many people who join WA in my experience give it up within a couple of months or after a 6 month period. This isn't long enough.

The fact is joining a program like WA has to be met with a realistic expectation. For me, I concluded that I would need to at least put in 2 years of work before I could expect financial returns which is why I gave WA a shot.

Within 8 months I started making £350.00 - £500.00/MTH from organic traffic. The revenue was made from affiliate programs I promoted and in some months Google Adsense. This figure has increased over the years once I started to employ capital and implement PPC to my campaigns.

If you ask me, it takes a certain type to really be successful with WA and those types are always in my experience, realistic thinkers who won't allow wishful thinking to dominate their mind which is what people who fail are.

I wouldn't be mad I would just accept it as their wishful lazy thinkers and nothing more. Truth is I'm more interested in helping the realistic who I know will become a success if they put the WORK in.

Regards,

Sam.
