How do people sign up under you as your referrals? Was I someones referral

I don't see any affiliate link at the top of my page, but I can find a link number in my profile. Do I just copy and paste that? To a Facebook status or something?

Go to any post on WA. Do you see the button just below the title that says "Affiliate"? Click that and it will give you an affiliate link that goes to that post. It brings anybody who clicks it to that page and gives you credit for the referral if they sign up.

looks like this is who referred you https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/ivetriedthat

I know this person! That makes sense. Thank you everyone!!

Yes, you were! You use your affiliate link that you see at the top of pages. Share those on social media or on your website. When someone clicks on that link and signs up for WA, you get that referral.

You can usually find out who referred you, by looking at the first person to comment on your profile.

On nearly every page on WA you have an affiliate link or if you click like and share it on FB, that is your link. anyone who signs up using it is your referral. Usually the person who referred you will be the first to comment on your profile.

For my niche website, does this sound professional enough

The best way to approach it is from the angle of passion, what about baby bottles made you choose them? what area of baby bottles do you think you can provide the most experience and/or content? If you are passionate about a subject the content flows, if not you will struggle to keep your website relevant.

My daughter had tongue tie and colic. A specific bottle worked wonders! I was thinking innovative baby bottles. Then I can talk about all different kinds. Better idea?

If anything it is a little narrow. You could definitely make a website surrounding baby supplies though. Don't overthink it too much. Just go for it and you'll start to adjust on your own.

I was told just baby bottles was too big a niche. Any suggestions?

I do not know who told you so, but I would definitely make it larger. You are supposed to write a few post per week or at least one, for a couple of years or longer. What are you going to write about? Jovo

I tend to agree with jvranjes. For instance, my niche is fitness at 50, or fitness for old folks like me, whatever you want to call it. The question he asks is awesome. Can you see yourself writing something three days a week, approximately 1000 words (recommended post size) about air venting baby bottles? Or even about baby bottles in general? if so, awesome, go for it. Because you will have a wide variety of folks checking out your website. I actually stayed a little vague with mine, so I could branch out. (I have physical fitness, mental fitness, financial fitness, and spiritual fitness. I can whip out 5 posts a week easy with that kind of variety. Part of the reason to keep it fairly narrow is for keyword and search sake. For instance, in your case, what about 'feedingyourbaby.com' or something similar? Please take my suggestion and others with a grain of salt. This is your website and your dream!

its a bit narrow so I presume you have loads of content to compliment this niche? Maybe you can make the niche broader and use this as a subject page
