When is your website presentable?

As I read blogs and post here at WA I've noticed some members are concerned about how their website looks or if it is presentable to the Internet world.

Your website like your business will never be perfect. Its similar to building a house, you start with a foundation and build from there.

Remember this, it takes time to build a house and the foundation will not reveal the house's finished look.

Like the house your website must start with a foundation and continue by adding one brick at a time, and only you can visualize how your dream will look.

I believe these thoughts are holding lots of new members back from letting go and publish the first brick of their content. I did the same thing when I first started with WA.

As I search through this site I've noticed a lot of WA members to be very intelligent and some like me, not so smart when it comes to the Internet. Therefore we should all follow the successful members here at WA.

The thing that surprises me most, is how others are "willing" to jump in with help by offering suggestions for our online business.

My years in business has taught me this; most people are not so open with offering suggestions but we should be willing to listen to any suggestion offered.
The most "inexperience" people have very good Ideas that could help you be successful in any business.

I know there's differences in business, but all have these thing's in common.

  • A place to do business.
  • Tools to produce.
  • Customers.
  • An Idea.

My previous business required face to face meetings with potential customers, whereas the Internet requires everything in writing to reach out to potential customers.

The bottom line for any business; even if you have the place the tools and the Idea, without customers you do not have a business. With WA we have the tools to reach billions of customers so surely we can find a few.

I don't know of any place that gives you everything, except the Idea and customers to build a business, but It doesn't end there, they also help you find an Idea and train you on how to reach potential customers.

Sound advice.

Thanks for the follow. You're right, happiness is the journey, People seem to be looking for it in all the wrong places. We just need to stop for a minute and search out ourselves for the true meaning of happiness. Nothing in life is perfect. Again thanks and much success to you.

Very nice post. I am never satisfied with my site so I change it almost daily. Every day it seems to make me happier. Thanks for the reinforcement that mine will never be perfect and that's the way life is. It is the journey, not the destination that makes us happiest anyway.

By the way, I am now following you as you seem to be pretty wise.

Kali

Thank you. You are right in your thinking.

It is funny I was just remembering it is like a store if you are not open for business people can not come in and suggest you need something or stumble around the floor plan which lets you know that maybe you need to move something. change things to make it where people can see. or maybe have somethings at the end so the kids will bug you to buy.

Thank you for this
Kymee, God bless

Thank you for your comment I believe the biggest hurdle we face is "fear" in trying anything new.

I was slow to hit the publish button when I started too. But you are right, we can find our niche in just about anything for those billions of people.
