It takes time and elbow grease to build any type of business
If you have visited my profile you will see I have many years in business management. I owned a business for many years for which I started without financial backing or a good place to begin.
I did not have the tools or equipment needed to do the jobs I was to do. I had many reasons to quit but more reasons to succeed. When I got frustrated and wanted to quit I would look at my kids and wife and remember why I started this thing in the first place.
It took 5 plus years before I saw real profits in the business and as I moved toward a more precision product I had to purchase equipment needed to do that type of work. Any profits made went into tools and machines so I could build the business I dreamed of.
My business required specific types of machinery to compete with other metal fab businesses. Starting with no money and having to pay a house payment, car payment and necessities of life for my family was difficult, so adding the purchase of machinery to that list created a rough road to follow.
So when I see people who don't have the fortitude to do anything to make life better It Erik's me. Instead of having to search out and buy the tools needed to build a business WA is giving away ever tool needed to build a strong solid business and anyone not taking advantage of this will probably never do anything.
When I started here I didn't know anything about this type of business, but I do have the Keep on Keeping on syndrome because I know anything worth having is worth putting in a little elbow grease.

Totally agree with everything you've written. In my experience it takes 4-5 years before you can say you have a business that can actually make any real money, especially if equipment or machinery is involved. I've had several offline businesses, all started with little or no money, and all involving a steep learning curve. All involved very hard work and sometimes you do wonder if it's all worth the effort. However knowing the sense of achievement and pride when things do start to go right, i would never go back to working for someone else now.
Bravo! Rosie I believe anyone can do anything they put their mind to. Anything is possible and any obstacle can be overcome. When I see somebody just trying to change things in their lives it makes me feel good.
I've had several businesses and yes, the thrill of putting it all on the line keeps the blood pressure zinging! I love it here - can't imagine any place else I would rather be!!

Excellent post Johnson! Agree 100%. Everything is here (or out there if you go digging) - and instant gratification doesn't happen in the real world! You have to work at it!
You are welcome and thank you I think anyone trying to do better and has the opportunity should do it. I lost a lot of good employees because I encouraged them to move on when a better opportunity was available. I have never believed in holding anyone back.
Thanks for the motivation. Before I wanted to be successful and there wasn't really a need. But now I am a single mom which I never thought I would be and I have 2 boys to take care of. My current job is good but I want more for myself and for my boys. So my motiviation has increased. Thanks for your thoughts.
Like you I have the same background. Started my business with the last $900 I had to my name...and built a business that I owned and ran for 20 + years...
No training manual or video's to help me along...just my competitures and you know they were not going to help...We have it made here at WA.
So you will do fine here...Just like when you built your business just take action everday...Nice Post..

These days I don't think people understand how hard it is to create a business. They just think it happens and you get rich. Sure you go work under someone else but to create your own kingdom is something that is once in a lifetime. It's really does take sacrifice in order to see gains. You never gave up and that my friend is why you are someone I can look up to! It's always good for a young man like me to learn from motivated people like you. Once again I enjoyed your Blog!
