The Grind of trying to implement all the strategies taught by the masters can be taxing. Even a seasoned blogger. It's hard enough to keep grinding away at your articles when operating on low energy levels or tied up with other projects. But what about those weeks that we don't write anything? We get burnt out!

But there is hope in these challenging times. I've written nearly 60 posts over the last 5 months and some half-written by freelancers, thanks to my friends at WA who help me stay on track with their great inspirational blogs while providing unlimited support.

The Grind

The Grind's goal is to make it easier for you.

The Grind doesn't want your day job, but I'm happy to share with the rest of my friends at WA how it can help you stay focused on writing content every day!

  • Drinking plenty of water to hydrate. Throughout the day and keep a bottle next to your computer when working. This will help prevent dry mouth, which makes concentrating difficult or even painful at times.
  • Create an artificial deadline: Setting deadlines for yourself in advance allows you more time later on if needed, so set one up now while things are still fresh in your mind. A useful approach to do this is by creating a digital countdown clock that ticks away until whatever date (or event).

Low Energy Levels

Maybe you just woke up, or perhaps you've been in a slump for a while now. No matter the case, low energy levels can affect our productivity and motivation at work and home.

When we feel lethargic, it is difficult to engage with tasks that require mental stamina, like answering emails instead of doing them later when we have more energy.

And when they come around at night, it might be harder to stay awake long enough to complete housework chores like dishes or laundry and winding down before bedtime because there isn't any physical activity left in us from the day's activities. So, exactly can we get free of this rut?

Check out these tips below:

Do something active ・Take care of your body with a shower and some self-care ・Roughhouse with the kids or pet.

Do something creative ・Play an instrument for ten minutes to work on focus and concentration skills ・Use this time when you are not feeling like blogging as a chance to brainstorm blog content ideas/keywords/angles.

Take care of yourself - by eating well, getting enough sleep (at least six hours) and drinking lots of water. You'll be delighted at how far happier you seem. In just one day!

Tied Up with Other Projects

Ever been tied up with other projects and want to blog, but you're swamped? Here are a few tips:

Do some quick research on your cell phone while waiting for an appointment or during lunch breaks.

  • Check out the competition's content.
  • See what is working well for them in terms of topics, style, tone, etc., and develop ideas that will work better for your audience.
  • Plan outposts so you have something ready when inspiration strikes later.

Take advantage of time spent in meetings or brainstorming sessions by taking notes about post topics as they come to mind-you'll be surprised at how many can get crossed off from just one appointment!

Follow through with these once back at your desk if possible; if not, commit to taking care of this later that day.

If you have issues with your schedule and need some work done on the business clock, be confident it aligns with what they want, but remember you don't owe them anything!

Be attentive when working on assignments so as not to risk unwanted attention from managers or coworkers.

Planning will save time and frustration when faced with deadlines outside of our control, such as birthday celebrations, vacations, etc...and we'll always feel better prepared because we won't be scrambling.

Burned out!

The phrase "burned out" is often used to describe the feeling that you can't go on, and many of us have felt it before. When this happens, there are some things we can do to get back on track quickly…

Burned out! To get a bit more in control again?

  • Try checking your habits: sleeping patterns, exercise routine, not working too much or everything at once (likely because you're overworked), so doing tasks despite feelings of exhaustion can have adverse effects.
  • One thing I found helpful was getting up early for an hour each day to work with no distractions--just me and my laptop!--trying different tactics until one works best for me.

This way, I'm able to accomplish something every day without jeopard

Hope in these challenging times (60 Posts Made in 5 Months)

I'm so happy to have got to this stage, but my goal is 200 plus SEO articles by this time next year and then even more to come. Some pieces are hard to write and require more attention concerning research and engaging writing and photos and steps to create quality content for any topic on the blog.

I'm doing everything I can think of constantly, which means that sometimes it's not easy finding new things every week or month because there is only so much you know about one subject matter or keyword area in general.

But these posts give me something tangible from all my work-the satisfaction of contributing back with what I've learned as well as providing others confidence when they're going through their own personal challenges.

Some articles will be hit and miss, some will hit those low hanging fruit, and others will be deep research and discovery.

Unlimited Support from WA friends who help me stay on track with their great inspirational blogs.

The support from this platform has been refreshing, and I am grateful for the friendships in it.

It's also been a reminder that none of us should be embarrassed about seeking help when we need it. To me is really important because sometimes you don't know what will work, so different methods have to be tried before you find one that works best for you--or at least feel better in general.

I'm still on my journey, but I can say this: It doesn't matter how much time or effort someone puts into their blog. If you are not enjoying yourself, going through the motions without feeling engaged, then reach out. Blogging friends may not always comment, but they read them, and our blogs help us all too! And since we all enjoy them too, why not keep going?

So here is to you and me-thankful for the blog posts we are making in these challenging times.
