The master key to success

Behind virtually evey success story are certain principles that the successful used to achieve their goals. Some of these principles are learning new skills, getting guidance from a mentor, surrounding oneself with the people who are where you want to be, emulating what others successful people have done. I would say that the master key to success is taking action consistently.

Action is vital. It can take many forms such as reading and videos to learn the skillsets needed to be successful. My idea of action is implementation. When I learn something new I always want to apply it immediately while it is fresh in my mind.

Consistency is essential, especially when new to an industry, platform, and/or niche. I am in this poistion now. I'm acquainting myself with a new platform. I'm choosing a niche outside of those of which I've always been a part.

Even though I am just beginning in this space, the good news is that action and consistency compound over time. The largest gains will be in the beginning because going from 0 to 1 is huge – as a mathematical percentage it can't even be expressed! The necessary component that action and consistency need to compound is time. In every endeavor, I've alway found it helpful to remind myself to be patient.

I'm hoping to see results quickly. But even if that doesn't happen I know that by taking consistent action over time the results will come – they are inevitable.
