I took a look at your site and did not see anything that Google would ding you for as to the images.

However, if you copy from other websites be sure that the owner of the website did not purchase it or it came from their own picture file. You will get penalized by Google for using an image that is owned by someone other than you.

I usually use images on www.bing.com. I have never had any problems with Google using the images from this site.

If your article or website was newly created, it will take a week or more before Google recognizes it. Once it crawled, you will get noticed. Another way to determine if Google is noticing your article is by checking Google Analytics.

I hope you added Analytics to your page. You can check Analytics to determine if you have any visitors coming to your site and what pages they are looking at. Check Analytics.

Also, you need to add a "Privacy Policy" page to your website. Google is always looking for this.
