Welcome to July 2026!

Dear fellow WAers,

I hope it's never too late to say welcome to a new month, even if that comes on the 7th or the 8th depending on where we are located on the planet at the time of writing. As I shared in the previous post, a lot has been happening on my part of the world.

My scholarship window is closely getting closed simply because the SAQA is still to send over the verified/certified copy of my degree, which I need to get admitted at Renmin University of China. The deadline was 10th June 2026, now extended to the 10th of July 2026. It's 7th July 2026 as I type this post, and there's no sign it'll be send in time.

However, Plan B is already on the pipeline. It's about focusing more on my books. At least one book could change the story. One book to print and market. One more connection to speak and teach as I learn from others. This could happen in Nairobi or Juba, or even Addis Ababa.

Yes, the courtesy meeting between me and the current Ethiopian ambassador to South Sudan went well. I was humbled to see how much the diplomat knew about me and my work. He spoke a lot from what I've written and shared on the newspaper, especially for the month of June 2026. I also thanked him for the unusual recognition. My very own government haven't recognized my work so far, though I have been writing since April 2025.

That's not the factor. I love reading and writing. It's more than a job but a life for me to learn and write. I live it, not just do it. Rewards come and go, but a lifestyle stays. But this also means if the China door closes, the next-door ancient civilization might be ready to pick it up.

Ah, my story is inspiring. I didn't have a chance to pass through what you might call formal education: nursery, pre-school, primary school, and secondary school.

As for now, there are no book sales yet for my Amazon books business. But the month is not yet over, and the news might change overnight.

Next, our 15th national anniversary is around the corner, and I should be in the independence mood by now, if I really celebrate holidays at all. I do consider each and every day a holiday. I didn't know I'd be alive today yesterday to even type this, and that's something I'm so grateful for.

Finally, my Human Horizon Theory, a new but not so new philosophy, is progressing well. I'll be writing four books on it, a Tetralogy, explaining what the philosophy is, how to apply it as an individual, how to teach it, and how nations might use/apply it for the betterment of humanity as a whole.

I recall one of the questions for my scholarship studies online interview was about what I have to offer to both China and the U.S.A, should these powerful countries ever go to war. My offer was simple but powerful: humanity.

The argument is that COVID-19 or Ebola doesn't know who's Chinese or American. These guys (germs) don't care if one is a poor South Sudanese or an Arab. They need a human host to live and then end up killing the host. Those are our real human enemies, not ourselves. That's the philosophy right here. Why do humans budget trillions of money for war while other humans are simply starving to death on the other side of the same planet?
