Building an Online Business Through Books and Blogging

Dear friends, (Sounding AI-ish again, uh?)
As I have been sharing my plans with you, mainly to inspire you and keep you updated, I'm happy to say that the plan is now in full swing.
Tomorrow, 4 August 2026, I'm returning to my room in Nairobi, Kenya, after being away for five full months. It has been waiting for me, and so have the opportunities ahead. Before I even get there, I already know exactly what I'll be working on: Wealthy Affiliate and my website.
I've lost my ChatGPT Plus subscription for now, but I'll renew it soon or perhaps switch to the Go plan, which seems more affordable and may be enough for my current needs.
Once I'm settled, I'll focus on marketing my catalog of more than 130 books on Amazon, both online and offline. I'll also continue applying the many lessons I've learned at Wealthy Affiliate to grow my website traffic. My goal is to build multiple income streams through book sales, Wealthy Affiliate referrals, language and IT services, and Google AdSense. That is my focus for the next twelve months.

My family is doing well, although they were very sad to see me leave again. My family is spread across three countries: Kenya, South Sudan, and Uganda. I have one wife and two daughters in Kenya, one son in Uganda, and another wife with two daughters and two sons in South Sudan. Supporting such a family is a great responsibility, especially since neither my two wives nor my eldest son, who is now 22, has a job to help support the household. I remain the one who provides financially every month.
My online business has not yet reached the level I want, but I continue building it step by step. But July 2026 has seen the highest Amazon book sales on record, and that's a good sign. I'm also a professionally trained legal and medical interpreter now across the United States of America. Meaning I can receive calls to serve, and I love it!
At the same time, my government ministry appears to be shutting down because of the current political situation. My role there was to help lead South Sudan's permanent constitutional development. However, constitution-making and the national census are no longer priorities before the country's first national elections, now scheduled for 22 December 2026. As a result, both the ministry and my position have effectively come to an end.
Even so, I always have work to do. I write.
I continue writing opinion articles about South Sudan, Africa, and the wider world. More recently, I've developed a growing interest in International Relations, and I hope to study and contribute more in that field.
I'll share more with you once I'm back in Kenya.
Until then, stay safe. Keep learning. Keep working. See results. Then share how you achieved them to inspire, empower, and integrate others.
Those three words continue to guide my life:
Vision: Inspiration.
Mission: Empowerment.
Value: Integrity.
See you soon.
