Perseverance Produces Result
Hi All,
Nothing big, but today, as I am doing my research for my article, I accidentally found my website on the first page of Google!
This is surreal. My pages on the front page!
I actually thought it might be just my browser's cookie so I went Incognito and Google'd "are Pinterest users proactive shoppers"
And BOOM, my site is still on the first page! Yeah, sure it is not no.1 one in the list. It is actually in the 4th and 5th place but this is such an encouragement!
Here are The Lessons That I Want to Share
1. Blogging is a Marathon Not a Sprint.
I wish I could tell you that my site is just a week old and my article is already on the first page, but it isn't.
Blogging is a business. There is no business that became successful overnight.
As a matter of fact, I've been writing a post at least once a week and I always thought of giving up because I have no idea what is happening.
However, I now have proof that there is something happening.
2. Use Keywords Not Only in Your Blog Titles but to Your Blog Body As Well
When you are doing your keyword research, don't just focus on finding the perfect "primary" keyword, but also take note of "secondary" keywords and use them in the body and/or in your subheading because Google doesn't just rank your title.
For example,
The title of my blogs are "What is Pinterest Used For" and "How To Use Pinterest to Promote Your Business"
Interestingly, my blog is not even in the first 3 pages of SERPs, but again no. 1 for "are Pinterest users proactive shoppers". I don't even think of that keyword.
Again, my advice is to stuff your articles with keywords... As long as it makes grammatical sense.
Also, don't forget to fill out your meta description and again, but related keywords.
3. Take Note Of Your Success - Repeat and Improve It
Now, my next step now is to check these articles and see what else I can improve as well as how to monetize it!
