Finding your Best Self in 2017!

We are who we are, but we can be what we want! According to Psyco-Cybernetics the creative mechanism within you will form a picture in your imagination of the self you want to be and see yourself in a new role. Before change can happen you must change the way you see yourself. That is you must create the Best you in the "Theater of your mind". Mental Training Exercise: Set aside 30 minutes each day where you can be alone and undisturbed. Relax and make yourself as comfortable as possible. Now close your eyes and exercise your imagination. You can imagine you are sitting before a large motion picture screen and imagine you are in the motion picture. It is important you make these pictures as vivid as possible. If your imagination is vivid and detailed enough this imagination practice is equivalent to an actual experience, insofar as your brain is concerned. To execute on tis exercise you must take pad and pen and write out a brief description of the mental movie you intend to construct and view in the "Theater of your Mind". Second step is set aside 30 minutes daily, preferably at the same time in a quite, private place to enter your Theater and begin playing, editing, and replaying your movie. The third step is gradually massage your movie so that the star (You) performs exactly as you desire, and achieves the experience and results you desire. Step four Play and enjoy the movie repeatedly without change. I highly suggest if this is of interest you read Psyco-Cybernetics by Maxell Maltz, MD. I am convinced to change we must change the way we think! This is one of my DUMB goals for 2017.
