AGAIN with the comments!
Okay, something is REALLY WRONG and I am beyond sick of this. Generatepress theme, no one was able to leave comments so i swith to Galaxis and now, again, no one can leave comments.
I CANNOT receive comments on my posts. Can someone PLEASE tell me a theme that ACTUALLY WORKS?????????? A theme that I can use that will allow me to receive comments that people say they sent to me?????????
And yes, I have done EVERYTHING to make sure comments can get through. WHY am I having this CONSTANT PROBLEM now with not being able to get comments in the past two pathetic themes that I have picked?
Could it be the blue background?????????? Whay am I the only one who seems to be having this CONSTANT ISSUE with these pathetic themes???????
I am beyond tired of this.

There is something definitely wrong.
I tried to leave a comment twice, but when I tried to post them all I got was a blank page.
I use Shark Magazine, if that doesn't work, build a new site and transfer your work. Make sure you trash the posts in the current one after you get up and running again. Then go to Google web master to request indexing.
Block + copy + Site Content + paste + publish + log in to new site + edit + update + trash old post + view new page + copy URL + Google Webmaster tools + past URL + enter + "URL not on google" + request index + request submitted + "Got it."
There maybe something else you can do. Like enable comments in "Discussion" under "Settings" in your back room. As Jaz333 suggested.

I agree. Something is wrong and site support so far can't tell me anything at all. Not sure if I am tech savvy enough to transfer things to a new site.
Plus, wouldn't that put me back in the google sandbox for an automatic six months? No thanks.

I won't do that. I won't go back to the google sandbox for six months. I have already been working on this site for almost a year and almost 100 posts and haven't seen a dime so there's no way I will go back.
Hi .. That does not sound like a theme issue. It sounds like you need to enable comments in your All In One SEO discussion settings. Go to settings .. discussion. Then 3rd option down check the box that says Allow People To Submit Comments on New Posts.

That’s the right setting to check, but it’s a WordPress Core setting, not the All in One SEO Plugin ;-)
Yes, I also suggest to set the option as you see the image. That correct way try to do for the new post. appreciate your really Shannon.
Generate Press is the preferred theme and lots of members use it here without issues, including myself, so I’m 100% certain that it isn’t the theme. What is your domain name and I’ll take a look. Or you can contact SiteSupport and they’ll take a look at your settings for you.

This can be frustrating, I know.
I am not using Generate Press but Jay and many others here are and as far as I know, nobody has encountered this problem.
If your settings are all good yet site comments aren't coming through, I suggest you contact Site Support; they're awesome.
I hope this will get sorted out ASAP.

Maybe it's not a theme issue. Some told me to change the theme. Doesn't seem to have helped.

Calm down it does not get you anywhere. Take a different approach and look at it from a different angle. If you can not receive comments on both themes than this is a setting problem.
1.If you have enabled GDPR there is a setting where it will block comments. If you haven't than one of your settings is wrong. Enable Comments on Pages 2. How To Enable Comments On Your Blog Best rgds
