Just A Little Bit More

I've often asked myself what makes certain people so successful and others not? At first my answer was that those successful people worked harder and better than those who were not successful. But I found over time that this is very seldom the reason for it.
Granted, if someone is not willing to work hard, then that person will not be successful and rightfully so, but I have seen many people work extremely hard, but still not achieve success, specifically financial success. I have loved ones who work 5-6 days a week doing extremely demanding jobs, but struggle to make ends meet at the end of the day.
Why?
I believe that one of the biggest reasons for this is that successful people have a vision of success, and they are willing to work at it until success is achieved.
They don't give up!
It is so easy to try something risky (this is another thing successful people do, they take risks), and then when things seem to be going against you, just give up and tell yourself, that you tried and failed, and it was obviously not meant for you. Then you carry on doing the same thing that you have been doing until you cannot do that thing anymore.
You stay with the same 9-5 job that just pays the bills every month until the day that you retire or die!
I do NOT want this to be me! I do not want to work at a job that I do not enjoy, that barely pays for my families monthly expenses, and takes precious time spent with my beautiful family away from me.
And I know that most of you who are reading this feel the same way.
I know that the best way to achieve my dreams is to continue to work hard at my online business, but at times it feels like an impossible task, but I will NOT GIVE UP!
How do I know that I will be successful?
- I have taken a big risk to start my online business. I am sacrificing valuable time with my family in the short term, to spend more time with them in the near future.
- I will work at it until I become successful. When I feel like giving up, I will do a little bit more.
This is what successful people do!
For those of you who are on a similar journey, just remember 'Just a little bit more.'

Excellent well written post John. It is so easy for people to follow the next big shiny thing and then give up and blame everything except themselves when they fail. You need the reason to succeed as well as a plan to get there. You sound as if you have both. Good luck and every success in getting there.

Really slow, but constantly moving. I'm still working on my business website firststopbookkeeping.co.uk. Thereafter I'll work on the websites which should bring in some residual income, but I need to complete the business one first. Thanks for asking!
