2) Every little piece of action we take has an impact on society and the world in general. If we are kind and compassionate, we make someone's life better for that day. If we throw our garbage into the garbage can instead of polluting the environment, we have taken a tiny step into making the earth a better place.

What do you prefer and believe to be true? I go with the latter for sure. Everything we do has an outcome and everything matters. You are not a helpless person in a crowd of 7 billion people, you are someone who can move a small fraction of the world with your actions.
