Day 30 Of My Journey

Well here I am at the 30-day mark. So what have I learned and where do I go from here? Let's start with what I have learned or what I feel good about.

Learning's

• Be A Steady Eddie - This has been my most difficult task so far. I have found myself at times all charged up and chopping at the bit to move forward, and the next day or so I vegetate and do absolutely nothing! Setting daily goals that I want to accomplish has helped ensure that I make progress every single day. Instead of trying to do everything at once, which is impossible, I now make steady progress every day. I find this method allows me to make incremental progress and retain more of the knowledge that I have acquired as well.
  
• Give &Take - It may seem strange to you but I have learned a great deal from the giving and receiving of comments and feedback. I will be honest the first time I gave a comment on a website I was literally embarrassed by how lame it was. I was totally intimated by the whole site feedback process. Thank goodness for the post on giving site feedback. I pull out that post each time before I attempt to give any site feedback and reread the ABC's on giving useful feedback. Reviewing other websites and posts has an added benefit of providing me with food for thought on how I can continuously upgrade my own site.
  

Next Steps

• Develop a marketing plan for my niche. I have the basics of a website for my niche but I need a detailed written strategy on how to market my niche going forward.
  
• Complete the Online Entrepreneur Certification. So far I have only completed phase two. My goal is complete the other three phases within the next 30 days.

Overall I have been very impressed by the approach Wealthy Affiliates uses to help develop an online business. The community support has been second to none. I continue to learn a ton and believe it or not I am having fun doing it!
