If I'm a newbie with a new niche website, how could a QSR in Jaaxy of let's say 250 be good if that's the number of other sites I'm competing against who are already established in

Jogiff is correct! Let me add your selected keywords with QSR of 300 OR LESS are suggested. Good luck and we are here if you need us!

The QSR gives an idea of how many people are interested in your niche and how much information is already online about it. As long as you offer valuable information, you will do well.

Bull Puckey Veganlife! QSR means how many competing websites there are in your particular niche. Don't post Lies, dude, when you don't know caca!

I understand more links lead to higher google rankings, so how do I make them "go live" in my content?

Featured Comment

Hi John,

To make a link "clickable" you need to highlight the link when you publish it in your Website Editor. With the link (or words) highlighted, click the LINK icon in your editing toolbar and add the url that you with to follow when clicking on the link.

Here is some training on adding links:

How do I edit the front page

I just got a spam comment Should I activate askimet?

Hi. I would activate it, because it is advised in one of the lessons to do so anyways. You are going to need it, and it won't keep all spam out, but the majority will be filtered. Michelle

Yes

Is there any
danger in just sticking a plug that I don't know aboutin in there?

Yes you never know whether they will conflict, the other option is to go into editor and change it there, but the danger for messing up for a newbie is high

The easiest way to change a font is to tiny mc ultimate plugin

Will copying a page of links and the pasting it on my website be considered plagiarism? Its a very simple question and I'd like an answer if all you web gurus aren't too busy build

it is about purpose and adding value to your visitors' experiences- why would you want to do it? If a link is good enough/useful enough to post it should be useful enough to shed some light and comment on- if not it is possibly just being lazy....you could reference the location of the original page and put a link to that, with the comment that your readers will find useful information on xyz factors there. Without more context it is difficult to be helpful. Plagiarism is trying to pass off other's original as your own, what you are suggesting-on the face of things amounts to just that.
Journalism is dead, Google just objects to us dancing on its grave, and taking the proverbial.

Hi there,

anything copied is considered plagiarism.

However, this may differ with links. If those links are affiliate links and you'd earn a commission with them, then you can copy and paste them on your website.

If they aren't affiliate links, I wouldn't just copy and paste them without knowing where they direct people to. This can cause to bad back links and if they refer to a page Search Engines have blacklisted, this can be potentially harmful to your website's rankings.

Try to add the links in your own way. Write a little sentence or two to it and then post the link. So people know where they'll get redirected.

To conclude, copy and paste of links might not be considered plagiarism, but you should still make it look unique.

I hope this helps and if someone has a better answer to it, then I'm sure you'd read about it here soon :)

All the best,
Nicole
