How my sales background helps my online business.
In addition to affiliate marketing, I am a Sales Executive for an international logistics company. As long as I could remember, I have always been involved in sales. When it comes to selling, it doesn't matter what the commodity is, the technic is pretty much the same.
- Look for a lead
- Find a lead
- follow up with the lead
- convert the lead into a sale ( customer )
- follow up with the customer
- grow your relationship with the customer.
- Keep the customer.
This is the approach I use for my online business. Using the same sales technics I use in my logistics job, I have been able to maintain and grow my customer list. Know your audience, get to know your customers... That's the key to my success.
