Wild Horses Couldn't Drag Me Away!
Determined Not To Give Up!
I'm sure many of you along the way have hit the roadblocks that try and slow you down and cause you to lose momentum. Well I have hit one and it's very frustrating, but hey if it were easy everyone would be doing this.
Where Are My Affiliates?
I'm on level three where we begin to acquire affiliates and post links on our pages of content and I'm stuck! I have looked forward to getting to this point to at least feel like I'm starting the monetizing process on my website. The problem I'm having is two-fold; one I am in a state where you cannot be an Amazon affiliate, secondly my niche is very focused (horsemanship and all things horses) and the affiliates that I need to connect with are relatively small companies that you have to apply to individually and I have been waiting a week and haven't anything back from any of them. I am dying to get my first affiliate and write a product review and get it posted, I am in limbo... stuck!
Is An Alternate Website The Answer?
So now I'm wondering if I should begin a second site with a broader scope so I can continue to progress through my training and not get hung up like I am now. I am passionate about horses but I guess I can develop passion about something else too, just not sure which way to to turn. My website and articles are getting indexed fine but monetizing such a narrow niche has been my concern from the start and with the limited affiliate opportunities I'm a little concerned about all my effort being for not! The only alternative to affiliates would be to create digital products of my own and perhaps a Youtube channel but I'm not there yet from a training standpoint. Would love to hear my WA community's suggestions!
