The Best Strategy To Begin For A Starter Member

Hello, new Referral, or should I say Starter member? What now?

First of all, if you are a new Referral, welcome to Wealthy Affiliate. Get used to that--you're going to hear it A LOT!

The Process, as listed here, is my recommendation, not a rule. I know you are itching to get started with your training and build your website, but trust me, if you follow this process, you will benefit from the knowledge gained, and it won’t take that long. You are free to proceed as you wish, but following the process that I have laid out for you will put you on the best path, and answer questions before they become questions.

ACCOUNT SETUP

1. Your first step needs to be the completion of your Account Setup. Having an account properly set up here (with an image, a profile description, and goals) will lead to much better communication within the community and can lead to your having much more support and followers here within the community.

YOUR PROFILE PAGE

2. Now that you have completed your Account Setup (assuming you actually did do that 😊), we move you on, to your Profile Page. The following link is to a blog post that I wrote specifically for new Starter Members, to go over the functions available to you on your Profile Page:

If at any time you have questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to me or anyone here—we are all working toward our individual success, yes, but we also support each other, and you are now part of that “family”. I strongly recommend that you build your Network by clicking on the Follow button of other members…you can do this slowly, a few at a time, or even wait until you have your website up and running.

YOUR TRAINING

3. Now is the time to begin your Training. My recommendation is to begin by following the On-Line Entrepreneur Certification (OEC) training. Here is the link to Kyle’s training--continue to follow closely and apply his training:

The OEC will give you the best path to establishing your presence online, and set you up to be successful.

If you have completed your training, you now have a website! You should now concentrate on adding Content to it.

I know there is much to take in when you first join Wealthy Affiliate.

JUST WHAT IS A "STARTER MEMBERSHIP" FOR?

I guess the one point I could have made clearer in that blog post is an answer to “Can I make money as a Starter Member?”. My best answer to that is “Probably not, unless you have experience in affiliate marketing.”. This process takes work—it isn’t a “get-rich-quick” scheme.

Again, the Starter membership is designed to give you enough exposure to Wealthy Affiliate to help you make an informed decision on whether or not (or when) to progress to Premium or even Premium Plus.

As you can see, there are great advantages to advancing to the Premium Level.

Wealthy Affiliate is not a pyramid scheme...if you are a Premium or Premium Plus member, you pay for your level of membership…but Wealthy Affiliate does not collect any of your revenue from your website efforts—that is between you and your referrals/customers/affiliate programs, etc.
