haha thanks Zoopie! I'm trying to figure out exactly how the anomaly occurred. My site views had a large spike - I'm assuming it's a good thing. I didn't share my posts anywhere, I've mainly been focusing on really getting keywords down.
Now I'm onto the questions - What is it that I did that caused the anomaly? Which pages received the views?

An anomaly simply highlights an abnormal number of events (or visits) to your site and is more of a warning than definitely a good or bad sign. Often it's a day when there's a plethora of Google, Bing, or other bots visiting your site.
