Why I,m here.

In my profile I mused on why I'm here at this place at this time. I now have the answer.

Over the years my mailbox has been swamped with all the offers from all the gurus offering the latest best thing and I never bit on any of them. You know. Caveat Emptor and the like.

What has changed for me was finding I had lots of time since I no longer have a day job. I thought to look at how I might get educated to begin a website. Well after a day of research I came here and enrolled and spent hours upon hours reading and searching and decided that this was the place to be if one needs a start.

But........the question of why I.m here and what am I going to do was no closer to being answered. I had no clear vision of what my contribution would be. The question for me was more existential than practical.

Since my "early retirement" the question du jour has been how do I wish to create my new world. I decided my new world would require that everything I do must be because the simple doing of it brings me joy. Success in my new world is now defined by Joy in the Doing.

Wow! I now had a concrete vision of why I was here. I knew I could find joy in the building of a site. I could take joy in creating content. I could blog for the shear joy of doing so. I could speak from my heart for the right reason. In my new world success is built in from the beginning. Joy in the Doing is my only motive for anything I do going forward.

There you have it. I am building a website and will adhere to the setup of my new world.

My new world is a trifle dusty though. Much is up in the air. This means I will not be able to stay here past my 10 day. The dust must settle a little before I can comeback and subscribe. I haven't a clue how my finances are going to pan out but don't really care or rather I'm not really worried. In my new world I am already a success.

I have a few days left and hope to have my site up before I must go. I want to thank you all I am smiling now and will likely be smiling long after this blog entry.
