Happy Holidays! And: On Staying Busy
First of all, I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas, Happy Hannukah, Kwanzaa, Festivus, New Year's or anything you choose to celebrate, even if it's just time off of work :)
It can be hard this time of the year to stay busy on your website(s), what with relatives visiting, or you visiting relatives, or even just wanting to truly have a break where you can recover from surviving another long year.
Always stick to your goals and your schedule!
That said, it's most important to stick to our goals during these times. Whether your goal is posting once a day or once a week, it's very important you stick to it (and that may include working a little bit on Christmas!) It's easy to stick to our goals when times are easy, but it's more important to stick to them when we have other obligations or feel like we deserve a break. If you don't let yourself slip from your schedule even around these times, you are much more likely to stick to your schedule during other trying times.
Think about where you want to be this time next year.
Personally, I keep my head to the ground and working by thinking about where I want my website to be by next New Year's, and where I want to be by next New Year's. If we can just stick to our goals when it's hardest to do so, things will start looking up, and future holidays may be a lot less busy and a lot more extravagant :)
I hope everyone who celebrates it enjoys this Christmas Eve, and anyone who doesn't enjoys this normal, undistinguished day (hehe). Thanks for reading WA friends, and I hope we all have even more to celebrate this time next year :)
