First Commission - A Notebook and a Cheesecake Factory Gift Card

So, this morning, like every morning, I optimistically went to check my affiliate stats for my hip hop website, spittalking.com. I didn't expect to see anything, but it's a routine. This morning though, I saw that 2 items had been ordered from Amazon! A cool cassette deck-themed notebook I recommended for holiday gifts and a Cheesecake Factory Gift Card I had nothing to do with (thanks, Amazon!)

Granted, it's not even $3 of commission because I'm just at a 4% rate, but it's a start and I couldn't be more excited. Considering just under 3 weeks ago I had no idea how to build and run a website, much less anything to do with making money off of it, it might as well be a million dollars. I couldn't have done it without the training and help from other members here. You really do learn everything you need to know.

So I guess the hard work does pay off, and I can only hope that one day I can look back and smile at how excited just $3 once made me. Until then, I will continue posting on my website daily and learning/sharing everything I can with the good folks here at Wealthy Affiliate! Thanks for reading, and I hope everyone's last few weeks of the year are winding down nicely :)
