Picking a Logo Can Be Tough
I know logo's aren't super important to a brand, but I like having one. There are a lot of places you can go for a quick logo or an icon you can use to go with the name of your brand. Google does care about brand and memorable brands at that. So along with good quality content, it's important to have a memorable brand and a domain to match it.
I've been using the website www.earn-extra-income-24-7.com but after researching domain name Do's and Dont's for an article of my own, I have decided to re-brand to something else more memorable and without the hyphens.
What I came up with was "Online Success for Less" (www.OnlineSuccessForLess.com). I chose this because I like focusing on tips and training programs like WA that allow people to be successful online without costing them an arm and a leg. Online Success For Less also is a bit more memorable than Earn Extra Income 24/7.
Now I Want a Logo to Match It
Here are some tips I use for designing/selecting a logo:
- When selecting a logo it's important to have a theme or style in mind. What kind of brand do you have? Fun? Ultra professional? Clean? Simple? Knowing how you want to portray yourself online is important.
- Every good brand needs a color template. In general it's nice to have 1 or 2 primary colors and an accent color. Color sets a mood and should fit your overal theme or style for the business. You can choose colors with a lot of contrast or complimentary colors. Contrasting colors or neon colors are popular for the "modern" style right now. Play around with different palettes until you get the look you want.
Selecting Your Logo
I like to get ideas from the world wide web and other designers. One of the places I like to visit for ideas is www.CreativeMarket.com. Here are logo ideas I collected for my re-branded site: https://crmrkt.com/7W2bJ7. What do you think? Do you like any of them?
I also love getting logos created from designers on www.fiverr.com but before I'd go that route, I make sure I have a style in mind so that I can clearly define what it is I'm looking for.
How do you select your logos? Do you have any suggestions for others on this topic? I'd love to hear your feedback on the logo concepts I collected (ttps://crmrkt.com/7W2bJ7) for my re-branded site as well as any other ideas you might have on logo creation/selection.

Think of yourself in motion and add it to a design!
Thanks, I did manage to come up with a design. I'm still getting the basics up and running on the site though. One step at a time!
