About JMeola

Hi, I'm Jordan Meola! I'm 22 years old, and recently married to my beautiful wife Renee. I graduated college in May with a degree in Communications and Marketing, but had a brutal time trying to find a job. I have finally started a career selling insurance and annuities, but am looking for opportunities to be an online entrepreneur as well. I have a crazy wide range of interests, from outdoor adventuring with skiing, kayaking, camping, biking, and wandering new places, to a deep love of film (the art films no one has seen, to some of the mainstream ones seen by millions), a life-long love of music, theatre, and animals... among many others. I'm excited about this opportunity with Wealthy Affiliate!

The main thing is to have patience, nothing happens overnight. Once you have built your website you may want to leave the training, don’t. That is where you will learn how to monetize your site and attract visitors.

Noted! Patience, persistence, and following the necessary guidelines are a recipe for success.

I hope things are going well. I know you are getting rolling within the training and there is ONE thing that always tends to confuse people and that is "what is my niche?".

I know, same thing happened to me when I started.

I just wanted to reach out and let you know that I am here if you ever want to run any niche "ideas" by me or you have any questions about finding your niche.

Get back to me when you get the chance! :)

Thanks Kyle! I have come to a few ideas for niches"

Novelty pins (like the accessories many people put on backpacks), and drones specialized in aerial photography and videography, high-end cologne, sheet music (for piano, vocal, etc.), among others. What are your thoughts on that?

Yeah, that is most definitely the direction you could head with your niche. If this is something that you are passionate about, definitely go for it Jordan!

Hi Kyle, just a quick question - I am finding that there is a lot more writing involved in building out my website than I had first realized. I'm concerned that my initial website, which is centered around novelty pins, buttons and badges, will not be something that can be written about with much volume.... should I consider a different niche market?

Well who is your audience. People that want help with what?

Novelty pins, and buttons and badges are fine, but who is your specific audience that you're targeting these. Don't want to make your niche product, you want to make it an audience and you will promote products and services to that audience.

When deciding on a niche and trying to narrow down to a more specific niche, I recommend you ask yourself the following question:

I want to help people that ______________.

Fill in the blank and you are going to be much closer to a specific audience. After you do this and if you want to run any further ideas by me, let me know and I will give you a hand. :)

Kyle, I have just one other question. I have an interest in film, and in the Oscars, that kind of thing, and I can see where there may be some need, maybe to someone that is looking for a place to discuss their interest in film and read reviews... but how can this be turned into something affiliates can use? How can an interest like that be monetized??

You can become and expert in authority and any niche that you want online and that is what is exciting about the Internet and what you are going to be learning here at WA.

There are going to be many different things that you can promote within any niche, likely 10,000's.

I have spent some time breaking down the process in the most simplistic way possible. Success online is at the core a 4 step process and I have broken them down within this video: Broken, down, the process looks like this:

Step 1: Choose your niche
Step 2: Build your website/content
Step 3: Get rankings in search engines (leads to traffic)
Step 4: Monetize your traffic (the make money part, through affiliate programs, etc!)

This applies in absolutely every niche and as you work through the training here at WA, you are going to be walked through this exact process. This is fundamental for ANY success online.

If you have any further questions let me know Jordan. :)
