So a couple of weeks in, and my website is up, Google ranked (but not receiving much traffic yet). I've decided to really try and build up my content first, then go for a bit of a stealthy affiliate link. I honestly want to help people within my niche (Music Production), and try and create a slick, uncluttered interface. It's going to take months to build out all the menus and reviews to get me properly up and running, but I'm sure it's going to be worth it in the end. I'm on my computer quite a bit anyway (aren't we all), and considered taking a bit of a sabbatical from my teaching job to learn coding, but lost interest pretty quickly. I feel the support from here is great, and really inspiring. My questions get answered quickly and there's so much info on here. Getting a little bogged down with the training, but working through it as I build my site. Also learning about lots of useful Wordpress plugins to start making my website look how I want it to. I've found some really useful SEO plugins which are explaining what I need to do graphically and clearly, and would suggest people really have a look at what's available and what suits them. The Google + community is great on here too, and putting the odd post (1 a day or so) onto your site is a good idea for generating traffic. Anyway, that's all from me for now.
