Drowning Out the Doubt: Keeping My Mind Focused
My son James takes Karate and one of the core skills they work on is "Focus". James is only 4 years old so they really break it down and highlight how to keep your body focused, your ears focused, your eyes focused, and your mind focused in order to maximize your potential during karate class (and life). My busy and nosy 4 year old has a real hard time with keeping his mind and eyes focused, as there is just so much for his little brain to observe and comprehend around him.
Going on this journey with wealthy affiliate and my website so far, has me feeling a bit like my 4 year old son during karate. I have a goal and I know HOW I want to achieve that goal, but there is so much to keep me distracted or take away my focus. Whether that be finding time to write more content with a full time job and 3 young kids at home to take care of or just absorbing all of the information and ways there are to benefit myself and my website through the certification, this platform, and beyond.
I am proud to say that I have accomplished much more than I thought I could such as:
- Setting up a website I am proud of
- Writing over 16 articles of content (a few of which have come in the last few days as I have really buckled down)
- Learned how to set up affiliate links and gotten accepted with many programs within my niche
- getting many of my articles indexed in Google
- Giving and receiving more comments on my content
However, there is still so much that I am looking forward to improving:
- getting my first sale! -- I am itching for it, even a few cents!
- Increasing traffic to my website
- Being more involved in social media (I feel like I don't know where to begin)

My hope is that I can help those that are just starting out to see that there is so much to be gained by just continuing to put one foot in front of the other and push through. I know I am still so early in my journey and I am not giving up. I may be distracted and doubt may try to creep into my mind, but I am going to take a lesson from my sweet James and keep pushing through to maintain that mind focus!

Looks like your site is coming along nicely.
One thing you need to be aware of with Amazon, and other affiliate networks for that matter. Posting prices is often a no-no unless they are being served up by the network.
From Amazon's Policies page https://affiliate-program.amazon.com/help/operating/policies
"Product prices and availability may vary from time to time. Because prices for and availability of Products that you have listed on your Site may change, your Site may only show prices and availability if: (a) we serve the link in which that price and availability data are displayed, or (b) you obtain Product pricing and availability data via the PA API and you comply with the requirements regarding use of the PA API in the License."

I appreciate you following up on prices. I was honestly just following the example that was in the certification training that Kyle did where he used prices in his review from amazon.
I did some research on here to see what others are doing and it seems pretty mixed as well. I don't feel the prices are completely necessary at this point so I may just decide to go in and get rid of them.
Either way, I will read further up on the policy!

It can be difficult to keep track of all the rules of the different networks. Odds are nothing may have come of it, but why chance it. Their(Amazon's) widgets are ugly but can serve up current pricing.
