I try to share my pinterest url but it doesn't come out as a link. How do I make it to link to my pinterest account?

Thanks AbieAJ and the rest of friends that had input in trying to help me out with the problem I had. I finally got it right.

Keep up the good work friends
Jeffrey

Great question and great answers

Depends on where you share it

Hi again, you asked this question before, and I explained it to you. That's your pinterest url, please make a note of it:
https://www.pinterest.com/jeffreym3334

Use this resource to share it

I do get it but my problem is that when I try to share it, it doesn't come out as a link. Therefor it can't link to my pinterest account

Where did you share it?

At one of the trainings where we tasked to follow 10 people and share our pinterest profile by giving our pinterest url

Right click on the pinterest link, choose copy link location then paste it in the training.

I already tried that, but using a cell phone

It is harder to do it via a cell phone because you don't see the url in an app unless it is a browser, you can open a notepad or google doc and write your url there, copy and paste it in training.

I need to share my pinterest url. Where do I get it?

After you get into your Pinterest account, click on your picture or icon on the top right.

I hope this helps.

Edwin

This is also a great thread with the training and then the comments have great value

Great question and great answer

Your username, add it to url below

Thanks AbieAJ, I'll try it out and I followed you as well

Hi AbieAJ, can you please explain how to add my username to the url you gave me.

Thanks
Jeffrey

See images, right corner, there's little arrow pointing down, click that, choose settings. Once in page, you'll see your first and last name, then username. Change that and you're good to go.

My name is Jeffrey Mahlangu, but my username is jeffreym3334

So your pinterest URL is (see images)

In a training there is a part called''GIVE AND TAKE''where we are asked to comment on other people's articles and provide them with our own url so that they can also comment on

Hi Jeffrey,
Carla explained how to get your URL for the comment site, and here's the link to that Give & Take thread. If you save the thread by bookmarking it (click the star under the name), you can save it for easy access.
Cheers
Suzanne

If you open up your website article, highlight the whole address in the address bar at the top, then right click and paste link into the comment section of the give and take page.

Hi Carla, I am sorry that I didn't get back to you sooner. I've been trying to do what you told me to do but I didn't win. I highlighted my link on the address bar and clicked on the right of it, the highlight just went away, it didn't give me an option to paste. I don't know if I did it right.

Do you use a Mac or a PC?

Iam using PC

Sometimes you have to highlight it a few times to get it copied. Not sure why it isn't working. When you right-click the address, do you choose copy from the menu options that pop up?

When you highlight it, you can also press Ctrl+C together to copy it. That's a shortcut. Hope it works for you! Good luck!
